Xiaomi Redmi S2 (known as Xiaomi Redmi Y2 in India) is the smartphone sensation of 2018 in Bangladesh. No, it doesn’t have the elegance of iPhone X or the innovative and top-notch premium features of Samsung Galaxy S9+. But this device comes with a great combination of features and an “honest pricing” tag. Redmi S2 is the all-in-one phone for the low-mid budget consumers and they are going to enjoy excellent performance and some intelligent features in fair pricing. Xiaomi Redmi S2 is the ultimate people’s phone.

The 16 MP AI front camera is in the main focus of this phone. Features like AI Beautify 4.0, AI portrait selfie, auto HDR, f/2.0 aperture turns it into a powerful capturing machine. The dual 12+5 MP autofocus back camera will also capture excellent shots. Then comes the design with a huge 5.99-inch display. Because of the full-view design, it may still fit comfortably in your hand. The back side with the matte finish will give a premium feel. But the body is made of plastic which is a big disadvantage in such a device. The previous sensation Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 came with a full metal body. It is why we couldn’t give a “very good” in our design review criteria.

Redmi S2 comes in 2 different versions, 3 GB RAM + 32 GB RAM and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM. Both are powered by Snapdragon 625 Chipset and 2 GHz octa-core CPU. Snapdragon 625 is not only a finely optimized chipset for fast performance but it also greatly saves battery charge. Adreno 506 is perfect for HD gaming. Fingerprint sensor and face unlock will ensure greater security level.
