The Samsung Galaxy J7 sports a 5.5-inch TFT multi-touch display with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels and a pixel density of 267ppi. Despite being so big, it has a waistline of just 7.9mm but disappoints with its weight of 170g.

For driving its processes, the Samsung Galaxy J7 is packed with a 1.2GHz octa-core processor housed on Marvel PXA1936 chipset. It is paired with a 1.5GB RAM to render fast and smooth performance. It ships with the company's TouchWiz UI based on Google's latest Android v5.1 Lollipop OS.

Camera and Memory

The Samsung Galaxy J7 comes with a 13MP autofocus camera at the back which is inclusive of features like HDR, touch focus, LED flash, face detection and geo-tagging and is capable of shooting 1,080p movies at 30fps frame rate. For impressive selfies and video calls, you can rely on the 5MP snapper at the front. It sports an inbuilt memory of 8GB which is again expandable up to 64GB via microSD slot.

To keep the show running for a long period of time without any kind of disturbance, the Samsung Galaxy J7 is packed with a massive 3,000mAh Li-ion battery. Verdict
If you have been waiting for a phablet from the Korean electronics giant, the Samsung Galaxy J7 is here. It falls in the mid range portfolio and will expand Samsung's youngest J series. It boasts of a powerful processor along with exciting cameras but misses out a good display. And just like most other phablets, it is too heavy.
